Calgary's Largest Freshwater Lake
It’s not so much a lake, as it is an invitation to live life to the fullest.
Mahogany Lake is a private, three-part lake that connects to the community’s residential neighbourhoods. At 84 acres of combined lake and beachfront (63 acres of lake), Mahogany Lake will be the largest freshwater lake in Calgary and will boast more beach area than any other community in the city. The lake itself is also uniquely designed, as it includes two distinct residential islands and is crossed in two places by bridges – both of which will provide exceptional viewpoints.
In Mahogany, residents will spend long afternoons stretched out on the beach, relaxing in the hot sun, or strolling hand in hand along its sandy shore. Impromptu games of beach volleyball will arise, picnics will be shared, small boats will silently glide by and laughter will ring out all around.
Main Beach & Recreation Area
It is here, at the sprawling main beach located in the centre of Mahogany, where residents will spend their summer days lounging with a book, swimming, kayaking and canoeing. Designed with a four-season lifestyle in mind, residents will enjoy opportunities to play hockey on the nearby outdoor rink in the winter, and beach volleyball on the sandy courts in warmer months. Year-round, families will gather at the nearby Central Clubhouse to relax, visit and enjoy a very special community amenity overlooking the water.
