The Main Beach Club in Mahogany is finally open and available for use! Mahogany and Hopewell celebrated the opening of this amazing facility this past weekend with residents of Calgary's Community of the Year.
This phenomenal resident facility offers 22,000 sq. ft. of year-round activities including educational and recreational programs, meetings and private functions. The fun continues out to the beach with tennis courts, beach volleyball, fire pits, BBQ sites, a splash park and playground, non-motorized marina and boat rentals, fishing pier, outdoor hockey rink and more.

The CHBA-Calgary Region SAM Awards were held this past Saturday, April 18, and Hopewell Resdiential is thrilled to have been named a winner in a number of categories. But specifically we are excited to announce that Mahogany has been named Calgary’s Community of the Year, for the 3rd consecutive year.
As a company we were nominated for 13 different award categories and are proud to have taken home awards. We take great pride in our amazing communities and it’s an honour to be recognized by the CHBA for Mahogany on a national, provincial and city-wide level.

The Canadian Home Builders’ Association’s 2014 National SAM Awards were held in Halifax on Friday, March 6 and Mahogany was named Canada’s Community Development of the Year! We are so proud to add this to the list of achievements that Hopewell Residential has accomplished.
Our stunning southeast community, with its combined 84 acre lake and beachfront, private beaches, 22,000 sq.ft. beach club, and countless other amenities has been named Calgary’s Community of the Year for the past two years at the CHBA Calgary Region SAM Awards as well as Alberta’s Community of the Year at the Provincial level. We are thrilled that we have been recognized on a national scale and can now call Mahogany Canada’s Community of the Year as well! Not only did Mahogany win this prestigious award, but the Triumph rear-attached garage show home was a finalist for Single Detached Home Between 1,500 and 2,200 Square Feet.
With a national award under our belts, we once again head into the CHBA Calgary Region SAM Awards in April, in which we have been nominated for 13 awards between our housing and land divisions. We are so proud to be recognized for our efforts in a number of areas, including:
· Community of the Year – for the third year in a row
· Show Home Parade of the Year for our amazing new Rear-Attached Garage show home parade
· Best New Home – $255,000-$294,999 for our Sonik attached home
